Hi guys To start I would like to say that during these weeks we have been learning a lot of methods in order to be a better teacher in the future. The new thing for me this time was project biased learning. This is a learning method in which we, students learn step by step. It is not that as a method is new, but the term, and what I think is more important is being aware of what we are doing and how we are doing. Practically every day we are learning. PBL helps student a lot by engaging them into different projects making them face real time problems. In fact as the world is organized everything is a project today and learning about this method prepares us dealing with different problems and also helps with communication and critical thinking. Hi everyone :) Flipped classroom I run into the term just recently but I did not know what it really meant. After the experience in my class, now I do have a clear idea of what flipped classroom is. They replace teacher lectures with some instructions, video or other forms. I would like to mention a lot of benefits like students can work from their own space, but the key is that they do advanced work. They should read while in classroom. As I said for me was the first experience in my class which I really enjoyed. It was something new and I was comfortable and attentive to what I was presented. Students reflect before class and what is more helpful they watch videos related to the given topic. When I first heard the term of constructivism I thought I had something new to learn, but no. After reading I understood I had knowledge about it. It says that people learn through experience, even if it is something new people relate it with small pieces they already have. As students this theory helps us improve our learning but as future teacher also helps us with different teaching practices. It is very important encouraging student on their on their learning and reflection process. When mentioning the word “intelligence” the first thing that comes in people mind is that everyone is intelligent related to a special field, is talented in something. Actually is not as simply as this because we all have the nine intelligences. A traditional view would say that people are born with a fixed amount of intelligence but in fact is that we have all these intelligences and each of us with a unique combination. Being aware of this helps us in our learning process. I have always thought of myself as someone who should stay away from math, but no just the right time and even a little more effort would bring good results.
